The holy city of Varanasi, which is also known by other names like Banaras and Kashi, is said to be one of the oldest living cities in the world. Varanasi has its own railway station which connects it to other major cities of the country. Buses ply regularly between Delhi and other cities of Uttar Pradesh to Varanasi.
