Phuket International Airport is the closest one to Phuket, situated about 32 kilometers from the city center. Although there are no direct trains to Phuket, visitors can, however, get off at Phun Phin Railway Station in Surat Thani Province. Buses are available at the station and from Bangkok for onward journey to Phuket.
