This industrial town exists amidst Himachal’s natural surroundings, attracting tourists throughout the year. It is an example of how a balanced equation between nature and development can be struck without affecting either of the two. Orchards and fruit farms are good attractions of Parwaano. It is also famous for Timber Trail ropeway that leads to a resort few kilometres away from the town. It is more exciting when sky is cloudy and pleasant with clear sky. Parwaano is easily accessible by air, road and train. Chandigarh is the nearest Airport, 20 kilometres away. Kalka is the nearest railway station to Parwaano – 4 kilometres away – along the Kalka-Shimla railway line. Parwaano can also be reached by road from other parts of the country owing to its well-established roads leading in and out of the town. Buses and cabs are available from Chandigarh, Manali, Delhi, etc.
