Trivandrum is the former name of Kerala’s capital Thiruvananthapuram, a city named after Vishnu, one of the deities of Hinduism. Central Bus Station at Thampanoor situated opposite to the Trivandrum Central railway station serves as the main bus station for long distance buses.
